Information we collect

We may collect information you provide voluntarily, including your name, contact information, the type of insurance sought, your renewal date and information needed to assess your request.

Why we collect it

• To respond to your questions and quote requests.
• To advise you and provide requested products or services.
• To comply with legal, regulatory and professional obligations.
• To protect clients, systems and our firm against fraud and security incidents.

Use, disclosure and retention

Information is accessible only to individuals who need it in performing their duties. It may be disclosed to insurers, service providers or authorities where necessary, permitted or required by law. We retain it only as long as needed for the stated purposes and our retention obligations.

General contact form

Requests submitted through the form are processed using Netlify Forms and protected against automated submissions by Google reCAPTCHA. These providers may process information required to operate and secure the form. Do not include a driver’s licence number, credit card number or other sensitive information.

Home and Auto quote questionnaire

Our bilingual quote questionnaire is separate from the general contact form. It collects the information needed to prepare your request, understand your needs, assess the risks to present to insurers and contact you about the request.

Depending on your answers, this can include identification and contact details, dates of birth, information about the people to insure, the home, vehicles and drivers, and insurance and claims history. Provide only the information requested and necessary for your situation. Do not enter a social insurance number, payment-card information or court documents.

The questionnaire presents a privacy notice before collecting personal details and separate choices for use by the brokerage, sharing with insurers, sensitive history and a credit authorization. Refusing or withdrawing consent may limit the quotes we can obtain; you can discuss the available options with your broker. Submission does not itself perform a credit, criminal-record, SAAQ or FCSA check and does not put insurance coverage into effect.

Submission, access and service providers

Unsubmitted answers remain in the open browser tab and are cleared when it is closed or refreshed. When you select “Submit my request”, the answers, consent choices, applicable wording and receipt time are sent to the brokerage and saved in its protected broker portal. A reference number confirms receipt.

The questionnaire uses OpenAI’s Sites platform and Cloudflare storage, with Resend for email alerts to the broker. These providers may process information outside Quebec. Alert emails contain only a reference and a sign-in link, not the client’s answers. The portal’s client files are accessible only to the authorized broker after sign-in. Necessary information may subsequently be used by authorized brokerage staff and shared with insurers according to your choices and applicable requirements.

The questionnaire does not authorize marketing or automatic checks at renewal. You can contact the brokerage by telephone if you prefer to discuss your request.

Retention of questionnaire files

The portal is temporary intake storage. Once the broker confirms that a complete copy, including consent records and their dates, has been saved and verified in the brokerage records, the portal copy is scheduled for deletion after 30 days, at the next daily cleanup check.

A complaint, dispute, preservation requirement or other necessary retention may place the file on hold and suspend deletion. Requests that have not been transferred are reviewed by the brokerage and are not automatically deleted solely because 30 days have elapsed.

Deletion from the portal does not delete the official brokerage file, which follows the retention periods applicable to its purpose and the brokerage’s legal and professional obligations. Provider-managed technical logs and backup retention are governed separately by the providers’ arrangements.

Cookies and measurement tools

Optional tools are off by default. You can reject all, accept all or customize the optional tools. Refusing does not block the website or quote requests. Your choice and its date are saved in this browser’s local storage for 180 days; we ask again when it expires or when the stated purposes change.

• Necessary: remembering preferences and securing the contact form, including Google reCAPTCHA, which may use the _GRECAPTCHA cookie for risk analysis.
• Statistics, with your permission: Google Analytics 4 measures visits to public pages using browser identifiers and technical data. Google Tag Manager starts this tool only after your permission. The _ga and _ga_* cookies are limited here to 180 days. Analytics retention for individual user and event data is set to two months, without restarting on a return visit; this period does not apply to aggregated reports. Google advertising signals and automatic form measurement are disabled.
• Advertising, with your permission: Meta Pixel measures visits for our Facebook and Instagram advertising. Meta receives technical information, including IP address, browser identifiers and the page visited, and may associate it with your account. Its _fbp and, where applicable, _fbc cookies may last up to 90 days. Automatic advanced matching and automatic event detection are disabled in our integration.

We do not send form contents to these tools. They are not installed in the Home and Auto questionnaire or broker portal. Privacy, complaint, claims and confirmation pages are excluded from measurement. Google and Meta may process data outside Quebec. Withdrawing consent stops new events from our integration and clears accessible measurement cookies on our domain; it does not retroactively delete data already received by the providers.
